At SMIILE Physiotherapy, we are focused on providing private, 1 on 1, hands on physiotherapy services with the highest levels of customer satisfaction. With experience of over 25 years in the profession between them, Frank and Emily will provide top level assessment, treatment and management of any physical ailments you might have. Confidentiality is of the highest level in the clinic where the focus is on you and your needs.

Frank Richardson is the principal physiotherapist who was trained at UniSA in Adelaide graduating in 2003 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. He spent the following 10 years working predominately in private practice and subcontracting physiotherapy services to nursing homes and some government departments in Port Lincoln, SA. In 2012 he moved up to the Sunshine Coast with a view to start his own practice "SMIILE Physiotherapy" which opened in January 2013. Together with Jared Murray at the front desk the practice has been steadily growing.

Our newest member, Emily Jones, has started working as a physio here at SMIILE and is looking to build a strong base of clients from the surrounding community. Emily has a keen interest in Women's Health, dealing with pelvic floor issues and the many subsequent problems women can have - especially after childbirth, but also has a wealth of knowledge and experience gained over the last 11 years. Emily is proficient in all treatment modalities and also uses cupping and dry needling where needed. She has worked both overseas and here in Australia with all age groups and in most physiotherapy settings. Like Frank, Emily is driven by patient outcomes and has a strong belief that listening to patients and including them in their own rehabilitation gives patients the best chance at good health.

Frank has a special interest Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) and, over the last few years, has been very effective in the treatment and management of this debilitating condition. So if you struggle with BPPV don't wait. Call for an appointment now. The sooner we get to treat you, the sooner you can return to a normal life.
